American foundational text Position

These type of texts can be strenuous and gut wrenching at times. It feels like you have been reading it for hours. But at the same time it's purpose and what it symbolizes are truly spectacular. They represent America's freedom and independence and that is why we read them and treasure these texts. My position of these texts is that yes they can be strenuous but ultimately are precious and important in America and it's society.

Government Shutdown

In the past 48 hours our government went in a shutdown. How does this effect criminal justice in America you ask? Well if criminals plan to rob trees and rocks from national parks then I would blame the government. Crime would still flourish during this period of "shutdown" but the police and many law enforcers are still working. Just like Crime doesn't sleep, justice doesn't sleep it, it waits.

Today there was a terrorist attack in the United States and its not by the terrorist groups who we all hate and deal with at war but by a fellow American. Aaron Alexis, the gunman suspected in the killing of 12 people at a Navy building in Washington Monday morning, has been identified as a Navy veteran from New York. Who was arrested in two previous shooting incidents and claimed to be affected by the Sep. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
